Intro:
Cernuda Arte applauds the opening of Caribbean: Crossroads of the World, presented by El Museo del Barrio in collaboration with the Queens Museum of Art and The Studio Museum in Harlem. This landmark exhibition, featuring more than 500 artworks, offers an important opportunity to examine the rich history and culture of the Caribbean.

Presented by Juan Martínez, Ph.D.
Professor at Florida International University, Chairman of the Department of Art and Art History, author of the recently published book, Carlos Enríquez, The Painter of Cuban Ballads, and author of the book, Cuban Art & National Identity: The Vanguardia Painters 1927 – 1950

This Lecture Series will be held at Cernuda Arte.

The registration fee per person for the six lecture series is $100.00*, payable to Cernuda Arte. To register, please contact Emily Codik at 305-461-1050 or via email at emilyc@cernudaarte.com. All funds collected through this lecture series will be donated to Professor Martínez for research and future projects.

* Participants who cannot attend all six lectures may register for three lectures at a fee of $50.00.
